USE AT YOUR CONVENIENCE
PAY AS YOU GO HEALTHCARE
We understand that, as we all have different healthcare needs and requirements, it doesn’t suit everyone to be on a monthly subscription plan. We therefore give patients the ability to use our Pay as you go service offering as and when it is convenient for them. You can access our wide range of products, services and tests as a pay as you go patient at the prices listed.
OUR HEALTH CARE SERVICES & PRICING
We are pleased to be able to offer these procedures following a consultation with one of our GPs or Nurse. You will be given a price at the consultation that is specific to your individual procedural requirements. We will be adding further procedures in due course, please contact the practice for further information.
VACCINATIONS AND IMMUNISATIONS
We offer a wide range of vaccine services, including immunisations for babies and children, but also travel and pneumonia vaccinations. Our services include some vaccines that are not currently available as standard to all children on the NHS. Some vaccinations require a course of injections to be effective. If there is something not listed below, please call the practice and we can discuss availability.

HEALTH CHECKS & SCREENINGS
A private health screen includes a series of tests and examinations that have been designed to highlight possible health concerns in the early stages. Some conditions may not show any symptoms but can have a serious effect on your quality of life in the future.
A full private health screen can help identify any early warning signs of hereditary illnesses and we can provide tests that are sometimes not available on the NHS unless you're symptomatic. It is an excellent opportunity to help give you a better insight into your current state of health and how you can work towards improving it, as well as providing reassurance and peace of mind.
Whether you have a family history that concerns you, or you feel your lifestyle is having an effect on your physical health, a private health screen is a proactive step to help alleviate your health worries or uncover any potential issues.
Quality time with our private GPs allows for a full health check-up and assessment, including specific tests directly relevant to your personal needs. During your Doctor-Led health assessment, our GP will review your medical history and perform a thorough physical examination, while a member of the nursing team will perform your blood and urine tests for analysis (and ECG if indicated). Some of our Health Screens also include an ultrasound scan, performed by an associated local private provider. With a complete picture of your current health, we will provide you with a personalised report to advise of any changes or next-steps you can make to improve your wellbeing.
ALLERGY & INTOLERANCE TESTING
Our bodies can react to foods that we eat and substances in the environment. These are called allergens. In most people, these allergens are harmless but if you are allergic to them, your immune system will overreact and produce symptoms. This allergic reaction can make you feel unwell, or have unpleasant symptoms like runny eyes, itching or swelling, as well as digestive problems and in more severe cases, anaphylaxis.
Here at Fylde Private GP, we offer a range of allergy testing panels covering food, inhalants, animal dander, mould and insects, designed to give reassurance and peace of mind.
Please see the individual allergy panels for details of each allergy test.
These tests can be booked directly with a member of the nursing team. You will attend the clinic to have your blood test and you will receive your results via or email post as soon as they are available.
Alternatively, we offer a £50, 15-minute consultation with a GP who will discuss your symptoms and help to choose the appropriate test. We will take the blood test and you will receive your results via or email post as soon as they are available.
Once you have received your results, you will have the opportunity to book a further chargeable appointment (face to face, video or phone) with the GP to discuss your results in detail and any necessary treatment plan. Please refer to our pricing for these appointment types.
Please note that all of our allergy tests are designed for Adults and Children aged 12 and over who are able to co-operate with a blood test.
Looking for the right counsellor is a hard process. How do you know whether you feel comfortable enough to talk to someone by just a picture or a short bio? The best way to find a comfortable ‘fit’ for you is to meet them.
At Fylde Private GP we offer a free 30-minute session so you can meet Charlotte and discuss her style of counselling. During this session you will both get a feel if are able to work together going forwards.
