COUNSELLOR /
PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Mary Callaghan is an accredited counsellor/psychotherapist and an accredited member of the BACP with over ten years of experience supporting people of all ages including young people from the age of fourteen and upwards.
Sometimes it can be difficult or overwhelming to talk about things that may be impacting your life, worrying you, making you sad, or causing you pain. Sometimes you may not even be sure about how you are feeling or what is going on emotionally. Life is full of transitions such as career changes, relationships, family dynamics, retirement, or becoming a parent and whilst these changes can be exciting, they can also be challenging and overwhelming.
Whether you are dealing with conflicts in a relationship, family dynamics, a trauma, experiencing loss, struggling with self-worth, or feeling sad, hopeless, or debilitated Mary is here to support you on your journey towards emotional well-being and fulfilment.
As an integrative and person-centred therapist, Mary’s warm and empathetic approach can help with a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, low self-esteem, stress, sadness, loss, and more. She works with you to help you re-connect with yourself, your values, and your self-worth whilst building up your self-esteem and purpose in your life. She helps you to make sense of your situation and feelings and develops personalised techniques to help you manage these, lift your mood, and build resilience.
During her spare time, Mary likes to upcycle old furniture, go for walks, and spend time in the garden.
At Fyle Private GP, we extend a complimentary 10-minute telephone consultation for you to explore Mary’s counselling style and assess its suitability for your needs. This session provides an opportunity for both parties to determine compatibility and establish a foundation for potential collaboration moving forward.
