INITIAL APPOINTMENT:

In a 15-20 minute session at our practice, our dedicated nurses will efficiently collect essential blood samples specifically for:

• Screening for mutations in 15 genes associated with an increased risk of bowel cancer.

This genetic screening aims to identify specific genetic mutations linked to an elevated risk of bowel cancer, providing crucial insights into your potential risk factors.

FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT:

Following your initial visit, a face to face appointment with a GP within 6-7 weeks will be arranged. This extended 30-minute appointment allows one of our experienced GPs to thoroughly discuss the detailed results with you.

Additionally, a comprehensive breakdown of the results will be emailed to you for your reference and understanding.
