INITIAL APPOINTMENT:

During a 15-20 minute session at our practice, our dedicated nurses will efficiently collect essential blood samples specifically for:

• Comprehensive screening of 8 different genes associated with hereditary breast and ovarian cancers.

This genetic screening aims to identify specific genetic mutations linked to hereditary breast and ovarian cancers, providing crucial insights into your potential risk factors.

FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT:

Following your initial visit, a follow-up face to face appointment with a GP within 6-7 weeks will be arranged. This extended 30-minute appointment allows one of our experienced GPs to thoroughly discuss the detailed results with you.

Additionally, a comprehensive breakdown of the results will be emailed to you for your reference and understanding.
